Bay and Basin first grade Jonathan Hill’s analysis of 8/36 on Saturday against North Nowra-Cambewarra was the best ever for Bay and Basin first grade (est 1994-95).
The previous best was Chris McCarron’s 7/13 against Berry-Shoalhaven Heads in 2007-08.
Lain Beckett was a standout for Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen’s in first grade with 7/18 against Berry-Shoalhaven Heads.
With Berry sitting on 8/78 there is still a chance for him to improve on these figures.
In third grade Gary Downey led the bowling attack for Nowra with 8/40 against Ulladulla United.
In the Shoalhaven District Junior Cricket Association under 14s competition, Bay and Basin’s Tom Dolby only bowled 3.4 overs but picked up 7/4 against Berry-Shoalhaven Heads including two maiden overs.
