POLICE have arrested a 46-year-old South Australian man at Hyams Beach in Jervis Bay with more than $50,000 in his glove box.

At 10.45pm on Wednesday, police from Huskisson were patrolling the area and came across a car parked suspiciously on Hyams Beach Road.
Officers spoke to the occupant of the vehicle and a subsequent search of the car found a large amount of cash in the glove box.
Just over $50,000 was recovered.
The man, from Callington in SA, was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with having goods in custody and dealing with property suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
He was bailed to appear in Nowra Local Court on March 17.
