Meadows stars ready to move like missiles

BOMADERRY’S Meadows Swim School will be well represented at this weekend’s NSW Country Championships in Sydney.

The school will have 10 members going for glory at the event in Homebush, which is being held on Saturday and Sunday.

Jack Batson is fresh from winning the age championship for the 11 year boys at the recent area championships in Ulladulla and is hoping for more success in Sydney.

Jack will be competing in the 50 and 100 metre races in all the styles, except for breaststroke, while his older brother James will be in the medley relay and freestyle for the 12 year boys.

Dylan Anderson will have a lot on his plate after entering all freestyle distances from 50 to 1500 metres as well as butterfly, breaststroke and the individual medley in the under 14/15 years division, as will Matt Carroll who is in two relays as well as freestyle, backstroke and butterfly events.

Ally Sparks will swim three backstroke events in the under 14s girls, as well as two relays and one butterfly event, while her younger sister Natalie will contest the medley relay in the under 11s.

Alyssa Dilley will have a busy meeting in the under 11s, with freestyle, backstroke and the relay, as will Peter Hamilton in the 13 years boys and Jordan Collins in the under 15s girls.
