Sophie Phillips was the most successful local winning the 13 and under girls title.
Sophie got better as the day went along to defeat Wollongong’s Sara Ljuboja in the final.
Sophie’s brother James also had a great day making it all the way to the finals, losing the final to Batemans Bay’s Brock deWinter.
Shoalhaven’s talented youngsters Tom Fletcher and Boyd Schreiber made the semi-finals of the nine and under boys event.
Other players to make the playoffs were Leon Rebbeck in the 15 and under boys, and Adrian Arcon and Harrison Graham in the 13 and under boys.
All red, orange and green MLC Hot Shots players are encouraged to participate in the weekly round-robin competition on Tuesdays.
Cost is $4.
Red play from 4.30pm.
Orange and Green play from 5pm to 6pm.
Every Friday night at the junior competition there is a sausage sizzle.
Cost is $2 per sausage sandwich.
