“The NSW Carers Strategy will underpin the way the government provides support for carers until 2019,” Minister for Ageing and Disability Services John Ajaka said.

“This is a great opportunity for carers to tell us how the NSW government can improve support, services, recognition, health, financial stress and social concerns using a very simple online survey.

“Carers are the backbone of our health and community welfare systems, making an enormous contribution to our state.”

Feedback will be included in the consultation report being considered by the Ministerial Carers Summit next month.
