The new handbook comes into effect on May 1.
Before performing any further functions, JPs should take the time to read the new handbook, to ensure they comply with the legal requirements as a Justice of the Peace.
The new handbook is available for free download from the JP website at www.jp.nsw.gov.au.
Copies are also available at local electorate offices.
