Region set for days of warmer weather

TEMPERATURES in the Shoalhaven are set to warm up in the next few days and continue into the weekend and early next week.

Nowra is set to hit 31 degrees on Wednesday, 30 Thursday with a possible shower, and 33 on Friday.

The temperature is predicted to be cooler and drop to 28 on Saturday, but will return to 33 degrees on Sunday and Monday, with a possible late shower.

For the annual Berry Show on Friday and Saturday the temperatures are expected to be 32 and 28 degrees.

Already in 2014, Nowra has received more than half its average rainfall of 65.3mm for January.

The area has recorded 34.8mm, thanks largely to 18.6mm on January 25.

Rainfall has been recorded on eight days.
