Previously known as MacDonald International Consulting, MIEngineering has continued as the major sponsor of the Teams Challenge series.
This event will be a two stage event to be held on Braidwood starting in Wugan Street at 8am.
The separate stages will be scratch races for all grades and after a short recess a handicap event will follow.
Both events will run over 15 kilometres.
The 2014 teams are ready to do battle over the 15 events in this year’s series.
Gordon MacDonald Electrical was the 2013 series winner but that team is not taking part this year.
Hanlon Windows have been chasing the leaders for two seasons now and with a strong team for 2014 will be hard to beat.
Damian Mason and Mark Astley lead the Hanlon Windows team which also includes last years individual runner up, Greg Showell.
The 2013 individual points winner of the series was Jake Stuart and he returns with a new team for 2014.
Stuart will race in the black and white colours of East Coast Ultimate and he is backed by another strong team including Paul Mackie and constant point scorers Hubert Driehuis, Brendon Miller and Rob Pickard.
Other teams included in the 2014 MIE series are Optus Nowra which features the Johns brothers, Levi and Nick, TLE Electrical which is led by Aaron Coghlan and the Bomaderry Vet Hospital/ Coffeeliscious team with Jake Whitton, Mitch Cunningham and Scott Barrett as leading contenders.
