The Future Farmers and the Carbon Farming Futures national project is a joint venture between Sefton and Associates and the Future Farmers Network and is calling on farmers and agribusiness professionals aged between 21-35 to apply.
Managing director of Sefton and Associates Robbie Sefton said the tour was an incredible opportunity for young farmers and agribusiness professionals to hear from the top researchers in climate change.
“We are working with the next generation of Australian farmers to showcase cutting-edge research and demonstrate the effect that land management practices can have on reducing emissions, improving on farm sustainability and reducing risks associated with climate variability,” he said.
To apply, visit the website www.futurefarmers.com.au or call 6766 5222. Applications close 5pm Friday, February 7.
