THE top teams went down in round 10 of the Pioneer Tenpin Bowling League competition last week with the Thunderbirds recording the highest result over Bitches.

Even though In It to Win It went down, they still lead the competition over Niners who won their match over Nutters who are in third place with MACK sitting in fourth place.
The results helped the lower teams to catch up to the leaders.
Results of round 10 were:
The Screaming Banshees 12 points defeated Nohopenhells 8 points
For The Screaming Banshees, Robyn Quigley had all over average games of 132, 116, 117 for a 365 series, Debra Pypers had games of 183, 148, 144 for 475, Joanne Boler had games of 118, 109, 106 for 333, while Siretta Dawson took out the wooden spooner award of the round bowling 56 pins under average where she had all games under average with a 90, 98, 138 for 326.
For Nohopenhells, Matt Whitehurst had all over average games of 98, 114, 97 for a 309 series, Craig Robinson had games of 100, 71, 131 for 302, Steve Edmonds had games of 112, 106, 80 for 298, while Mason Annesly’s absent score didn’t gain them any points.
Thunderbirds d Bitches 15 1/2-4 1/2
For Thunderbirds, Carl Henderson took out the star bowler of the round award by bowling 65 pins over average where he had all games over average with a 139, 124, 187 for a 450 series, Sue Collins had games of 135, 113, 128 for 376, Les Collins had games of 97, 135, 121 for 353, while Grant Wellard’s absent score gained them all four points.
For Bitches, Ann McCudden had all over average games of 116, 148, 117 for a 381 series, Julie Nicholls had games of 133, 125, 154 for 412, Debbie Pickering had games of 124, 152, 128 for 404, while Ingrid Sach had all under average games of 121, 108, 116 for 345.
The Niners 12 1/2 points d Nutters 7 1/2 points
For The Niners, Leiland Friend had all over average games of 178, 177, 189 for a 544 series, Ron Timbs had games of 150, 154, 170 for 474, Glenn Pollard had games of 165, 147, 132 for 444, while Bob Doyle had games of 125, 140, 82 for 347.
For Nutters, Isaac Riley had games of 168, 155, 148 for a 471 series, Jody Jenner had games of 91, 120, 121 for 332, Colin Riley had games of 79, 128, 122 for 329, while Chloe Jenner had games of 114, 97, 94 for 305.
Spicks and Specks d MACK 12-8
For Spicks and Specks, Neil Hawes had all over average games of 148, 100, 124 for a 372 series, Les Robinson had games of 179, 168, 179 for 526, Trevor Boyd had games of 132, 124, 137 for 393, while Val Dinnie had games of 129, 81, 135 for 345.
For MACK, Cheyne Pons took out the star bowler of the round award bowling 42 pins over average in her games of 160, 113, 86 for a 359 series, Margaret Gardiner had games of 108, 104, 81 for 293, Cherie Cook had games of 60, 87, 70 for 217, while Ashleigh Miller had all under average games of 82, 72, 92 for 246.
The Deadly Assassins 12 points d In It to Win It 8 points
For The Deadly Assassins, Peter Speller had games of 130, 188, 131 for a 449 series, Cara Cooper had games of 135, 88, 100 for 323, Mathew Tranter had games of 95, 118, 81 for 294, while Hal Johnston had all under average games of 128, 137, 139 for 404.
The 200 plus club award games, well, sorry to say there were none bowled in this round.

Well, before I sign off, if there is anyone out there who is bored and wants something to do on Monday night, why not grab a few friends and join this league?
There is money to be won on the first game on pick the score plus five meat raffles every Monday night, also great music to listen to while you are bowling.
Interested persons just come along at 5.45pm to Shoalhaven City Lanes, Narang Road, Bomaderry and you don’t need to be a good player to bowl in it as it is based on handicap and the cost is only $21 for three games.
