The modern facility is designed to be a welcoming place for Aboriginal people that will support culturally relevant and safe early childhood education and care, parent and family support and early childhood health services in a beautifully finished space.
The inauguration will feature local speakers Aunty Nell Mooney, MPs Shelley Hancock and Ann Sudmalis and Shoalhaven Mayor Joanna Gash.
The centre will be a jointly managed facility, with Relationships Australia NSW offering family support services and Illawarra Area Child Care delivering the early learning services.
Cullunghutti is the name of the local Aboriginal area, also known as Mount Coolangatta, it was chosen as the name of the facility because of the cultural and spiritual significance it has for Aboriginal people.
Open day celebrations will commence at 10am on Hollaway Road, Nowra.
