The market which is sponsored by the Bomaderry Lions Club, was cancelled late Thursday afternoon on account of not enough store holders signing up for the event.
Bomaderry Lions Club secretary Bruce Murphy said the lack of numbers was due to the extreme heat.
“Stall holders were pulling out because it’s too hot and they were concerned people wouldn’t turn up,” Mr Murphy said.
“We only had 10 stalls left so we decided to cancel yesterday.”
Bruce ensured the market would be held again next month and the last three have been well received by the community.
“We had 26 stall holders at the last market and they were selling things like candles, fruit and vegetables, crafts and handmade items and more,” he said.
