T20 Blast offers children eight-12 an opportunity to experience the dynamic and exciting nature of Twenty20 cricket in the modified format of ‘super eights.’
January 16 and 17 will see the Shoalhaven hold its first T20 Blast program at Hayden Drexel Oval, Worrigee.
The program will run over two days and include eight-a-side matches and skill based games that focus on specific components of cricket.
The program is aimed at all children, from first time players to current junior cricketers.
The T20 Blast will give first time cricketers a good opportunity to experience cricket for two days during the school holidays and learn about Australia’s favourite sport.
Junior cricketers from Milo in2cricket and also those playing under 10s modified cricket are invited to come along as well and enjoy the day and pick up some handy tips.
The cost of the program is $99 and each participant will receive a T20 Blast promotion pack, which includes a shirt, a Big Bash League team cap, Milo cricket giveaways and other KFC Big Bash promotional items.
To register for this event, visit www.t20blast.com.au and search ‘Shoalhaven’ to find the Shoalhaven School Holiday T20 Blast.
The day is sure to be an exciting and fun day for all involved and anyone interested is encouraged to attend.
