Patrolled beaches in the Shoalhaven include Seven Mile Beach, Crookhaven/Culburra Beach, Warrain Beach, Werri
Beach, Cudmirrah Beach and
Mollymook Beach.
In the lead up to summer, patrols at Cudmirrah Beach and Sussex Inlet were in doubt, but they will be patrolled until January 26.
South Coast branch Surf Life Saving president Steve Jones expressed his gratitude to members of the Illawarra Surf Life Saving branch who are volunteering their time to provide patrols on Cudmirrah Beach over this holiday season.
The beaches inside Jervis Bay are largely calm and free of rips and can be a safer option for families or people who are not so confident in the water.
