Shoalhaven gears up for New Year's Eve

THE Shoalhaven area has a number of events with amazing fireworks to see 

on New Year's Eve - Tuesday, December 31

Nowra

The Shoalhaven City Turf Club off Albatross Road, Nowra will be staging its popular, family friendly New Year's Eve race meeting. 

Gates open at noon.

There will be plenty of entertainment for the whole family including a jumping castle for the children, live music, a spectacular fireworks display kicking off at 9.30pm and of course a full day of races.

Berry

Berry Showground is always a popular location for New Year's Eve.

This fun night starts at 5pm and is jam-packed with entertainment for the whole family and there will be free children's games, entertainment, stalls, carnival rides and displays.

The magnificent fireworks display will start at 9pm.

Entry is $5 for adults, $2 for children or $10 for a family pass.

Huskisson

A fireworks display at Voyager Park, Huskisson is open to the public as a free event on New Year's Eve.

The event runs from 7pm to 9.30pm.

Ulladulla

People can also join in the fun on New Year's Eve at the Ulladulla Harbour.

This annual, free, community event has it all - location, ambience, easy access and parking.

Picnic on the foreshore, dance, enjoy the music, stroll through the carnival and soak up the atmosphere.

Fireworks start at 9pm.
