Les and Wendy Baxter, after the last several years of being weigh master and records keeper, took on new roles as chief cooks.
Thank you and much appreciated by all.
The club had 18 anglers table their catches over the weekend which was the best turnout it has had for some time.
While most anglers struggled with their catches, two standouts were Bruce Davidson and Jason Smith, who both fished estuary.
Bruce’s total weekend catch was 9.87 kilograms of fish, with his dusky flathead making the biggest of species board at 3.61 kilograms.
Jason presented his Sunday’s haul of 7.92 kilograms, which included a bag limit of snapper.
The other biggest of species place was made by Bob Watts with a 0.34 kilogram whiting.
Categories fished were small boats and estuary and catches included bream, snapper, flathead, morwong, whiting, flounder and dusky flathead.
New members weighing in with us for the first time were Sherri and Jason Smith and Christine and Errol Wray.
Welcome aboard.
Mystery pairs was won by Jason Smith and Christine Wray, now that is the way to make a start.
