Kids’ camps encourage outdoor activities

PARENTS have been encouraged to take their children along to Berry Sport and Recreation Centre for outdoor fun and camping these summer holidays.

The centre offers a wide variety of activities including rock climbing, fishing, sailing and cooking classes.

Kids’ Camps will run throughout the school holidays up to Friday, January 24.

The camps are designed to create friendships, build confidence and skills and teach the benefits of an active lifestyle.

NSW Sport and Recreation is giving away a children’s camp for two.

Parents can enter by visiting the Sport and Recreation website, liking the Facebook page and answering a single question.

Competition entries close 3pm on Friday, December 13.

Children can stay in camps from one to five days and there are programs suitable for ages four to 15.

For information and bookings, phone 13 13 02 or visit the website at www.dsr.nsw.gov.au.
