Now in its sixth year, the event sees council staff dress casually for the day while donating food items to those in need.
Shoalhaven Mayor Joanna Gash said it was extremely heartening to see council staff combining to donate hundreds of food items to assist less fortunate local residents.
“Many in the community may not be aware as to the number of different fund-raisers co-ordinated by staff to help raise money and awareness for different charities,” Cr Gash said.
The donated items included tins of meat, vegetables, pasta, condiments and other assorted food items.
