HOLIDAY traffic is building on the Princes Highway, south of Nowra.
With holiday makers returning home after the long weekend, the now regular traffic build-up at South Nowra is occurring.
Traffic on the highway through South Nowra is actually travelling quite well, albeit slowly.
Traffic is down to crawling pace between the roundabout at Warra Warra Road and Forest Road, while from there to Parma Road traffic is almost at a standstill.
From Parma Road the line of traffic stretches back to Jervis Bay Road, although it is moving slowly.
Further south on the highway traffic is moving, but from the Log Cabin Service Station the traffic extends for about five kilometres south.
There are also reports of extensive delays in the northern Shoalhaven around Berry.
Traffic is said to be backed up, up to five kilometres south of the township.
