A 35-year-old Blaxland man and a 36-year-old Huskisson woman have been charged with drink-driving over the weekend.
At 12.01am Saturday police stopped a vehicle being driven on The Springs Road, Sussex Inlet for a mobile random breath test.
The driver was arrested and taken to Sussex Inlet Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis, which returned a reading of reading of 0.108.
The man was issued with a court attendance notice and will appear in Nowra Local Court on November 4.
At 8.10pm Saturday police saw a Holden Astra sedan go through a stop sign on Currambene Street, Huskisson without making any attempt to stop.
They stopped the vehicle and spoke to the driver who was the holder of a Provisional P2 licence. Police also saw a child seated in the passengers side front seat.
The woman was submitted to a roadside breath test, which proved positive.
She was arrested and taken to the Huskisson Police Station where she was issued with a court attendance notice for failling to stop at the stop sign and low range prescribed concentration of alcohol. The woman will appear before Nowra Local Court at a future date.
