IMPROVEMENTS to roads will start on Moss Vale Road and Hampden Bridge in Kangaroo Valley on Wednesday.
An amount of $600,000 from the NSW government will go towards a new road surface, widening of road shoulders, the installation of new drains and an upgrade on existing bus bays, gutters and property access.
Work will be conducted from 7am to 5pm weekdays and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.
The upgrade is scheduled to finish by the end of November, weather permitting.
Moss Vale Road will be reduced to one lane of traffic during the work and traffic controls will be in place.
Lanes will reopen to traffic outside of work hours and signs for changes to pedestrian and bus stop access will be displayed.
Hampden Bridge will be closed for 30 minutes in early November and residents will be advised of the date two weeks before work starts.
Heavy vehicles will not be able to access the bridge during work.
