TULIP Time organisers have halved the cost of entry into Corbett Gardens, in Bowral, after three days of strong winds in the region damaged displays.
The cost of adult admission has been reduced to $5 per person whilst concession, seniors and children between 13 and 17-years-old is now $3.
Groups of 20 or more can now enter for $2.50 per person, while local residents and children under 12-years visit Corbett Gardens free of charge.
Wingecarribee Council’s acting group manager of tourism, economic development and events Steve Rosa said the event will remain open for the duration of the festival.
“Unfortunately the winds have played havoc with the displays in Corbett Gardens and some of the flower beds haven’t recovered from the damage,” Mr Rosa said.
“We think the discounted price is now particularly good value to still experience the remaining flowers, colour and attraction of what has been on the whole, a fantastic year.
