A NUMBER of Shoalhaven businesses have been shortlisted as finalists to this year’s Momentum Energy Illawarra Business Awards.
Five local businesses are finalists, making up a strong line-up of finalists.
Heading the way is Chance Hanlon, of Hanlon Windows, who is one of three nominated for the Business Leader of the Year award.
His Bomaderry company is also a finalist in the excellence in manufacturing and resources section.
South Nowra business Rambor is also nominated for three awards, excellence in manufacturing and resources, excellence in export and excellence in innovation.
Silos Estate, at Jaspers Brush, is also finalist in two categories, excellence in tourism and hospitality and excellence in sustainability.
Fellow Shoalhaven business Soilco is also a finalist in this section.
RMB Lawyers, which also has operations in the Shoalhaven, is also dual finalist in the excellence in professional and commercial services and the excellence in innovation.
The Shoalhaven Business Chamber is also in line for an award, a finalist in the local chamber council of the year, coming up against the Northern Illawarra Chamber of Commerce for the award.
Winners will be announced at the gala ceremony on Friday, October 25 at the WIN Entertainment Centre.
