SHOALHAVEN Heads-Berry Football Club will host the under 12, 14 and 16s Girls State Titles next week.
There are going to be 27 teams and 500 players invading the soccer fields at Shoalhaven Heads from Monday through to Friday.
A large number of the community are going to be involved with helping to showcase Shoalhaven Heads including the Men’s Shed who will be cooking the bacon and egg rolls, Red Cross are helping with the making of the sandwiches, not to mention all the mums and dads assisting with working in the canteen, ground keeping and barbecue cooking to mention but a few.
Four local Shoalhaven Heads girls, who play for Southern Branch, will be playing in the tournament.
Mackenzie Jones (under 14s), Amy Findlay (under 12s), Tamika Tuckley (under 16s) and Sophie Emery (under 12s) are all excited to get the chance to play in front of their home crowd and family and friends.
Tournament manager Jenny Miller from the Shoalhaven Heads-Berry Football Club has put in a lot of hard work to bring everything together and is really looking forward to it.
