THREE youths have been charged over a home invasion and assault in Bomaderry.
At about 12.30pm on Wednesday, three teenagers were inside a home on West Birriley Street, Bomaderry, when a number of males forced entry.
The intruders allegedly assaulted the teens, two aged 17 and one aged 16, before threatening one of them with a knife and stealing some property from him.
Police attended the home a short time later but the offenders had fled.
Following inquiries, detectives attended a nearby home in Sampson Crescent where they arrested three males.
They were taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with a number of offences.
A 16-year-old was charged with special aggravated break and enter with intent armed with a dangerous weapon; assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company; affray; and assault occasioning bodily harm.
A 17-year-old was charged with aggravated break and enter and committing a serious indictable offence in company.
A 17-year-old was charged with aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence in company; affray; and stealing from a person.
All three were refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Children’s Court on Thursday.
