A 26-year-old Falls Creek man has been airlifted to St George Hospital with head injuries after an accident on Wandean Road, west of Wandandian on Friday afternoon.
The man was one of three people in the Toyota Hilux dual cab utility that rolled about five kilometres west of the Princes Highway.
Emergency services raced to the scene and treated the three occupants of the vehicle.
An Ambulance Paramedic spokesperson said the utility rolled on a slight bend on a gravel section of the road and came to rest on its wheels.
The male, who was believed to be the driver, suffered a serous head injury and was airlifted to hospital by the Ambulance Rescue Helicopter from Albion Park, but was conscious and talking.
The helicopter landed on an adjacent vacant block of land to the Wandandian Hall.
One of the two other men in the vehicle suffered minor injuries, while the other occupant was uninjured.
