South Coast AFL Elimination Final
Bomaderry Tigers 15.13(103)
Northern District Tigers 8.9(57)
THE Bomaderry Tigers have lived to fight another day in the South Coast AFL competition, with a 46-point win against Northern Districts in the elimination semi-final.
They now progress to the preliminary final next week, against the Wollongong Bulldogs, where both sides will be out to book their ticket to play Kiama in the grand final.
Bomaderry made a strong start and went on to outscore their opponents in all four quarters, to come home with a comfortable win.
Jordan Matthews and McKinley Drummond led the way with the boot, kicking three goals each, while they had some good support from Andrew Ellis and Luke Sargent, who both chipped in with two.
The win will give Bomaderry some confidence going into the grand final decider, but they will face some tough competition from Wollongong, who will be disappointed after missing their loss to Kiama in the qualifying semi.
They will play the preliminary final at Bargo Sports Ground, starting at 2.10pm.
