LAST Saturday’s Bledisloe Cup clash might not have been the result the Wallabies for hoping for, but it did not stop some Shoalhaven juniors from having a good time.
The Shoalies under 11s and some of the under 13s were there to perform the guard of honour duties for the Wallabies, who were defeated 47-29 by the All Blacks.
The players were chaperoned by under 11s coach Dave Simpson and juniors chairman Kees Quinten, who said they all enjoyed the atmosphere and had a great time.
All reports were they were on their best behavior and did a great job representing the Shoalhaven.
A reminder to rugby fans that the junior grand finals will be held at Shoalhaven Rugby Park on September 15.
Due to representative fixtures, it will only be the under 10s through to 14s finals played in the Shoalhaven, with a date and venue for the under 15s and 17s still to be confirmed.
