A 47-year-old Nowra woman was arrested on Saturday following the assault of two women in Numbaa Way.
Police and ambulance officers arrived on the scene at 5.20pm to find a 51-year-old Nowra woman unconscious after allegedly being hit on the head with an oven tray.
Her 32-year-old daughter had also been assaulted with police alleging she had been punched a number of times.
Officers were told the mother and daughter had been invited to the home.
Just after 5pm the daughter became involved in a fight with the 47-year-old in which she was punched.
While trying to help her daughter, the mother was struck on the head.
After emergency services arrived the mother was taken by ambulance to Shoalhaven Hospital where she was in a stable condition.
The 47-year-old was charged with two counts of assault causing actual bodily harm, being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence and affray.
She was bailed and will appear in Nowra Local Court on September 16.
Another woman, aged 34, was also arrested, but has been released pending further inquiries.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
