IT was a clean sweep for Bomaderry in the mod semi-finals with all teams performing superbly to win. Now our under 11 Blue team and under 12 team go straight into the grand final on August 24 and our under 10 team have progressed to the final this weekend.
The under 12s were impressive in their 26-0 thrashing over Culburra.
Mitchell Karhapaa showed how much he has improved this season by scoring his first try for the Swamp Rats and he went on to convert it.
Speedster Ben Worthington was too quick scoring a try and kicking the goal.
Brayden Mackie-Swain maneuvered his way around the defence to score a try for Taylor Haydock to convert.
Ky Sims and Joseph Simpson scored a great try each.
The under 11 Blue team had a comfortable 28-12 win over Stingrays,
Jake Locke was first to score after he worked his way through the defence and then kicked the goal.
Not long after Jake was at it again when he ran straight through the middle of the opposition to score his second try and Zeb Maddinson kicked the goal.
Jake soon made it a hat-trick of tries when he received an off load from Zeb after he made a break in play to off load and Jake scored.
Winger Bailey Bagnall received an offload from Jake to dive and score out wide and Ben Lymbery kicked the goal.
Zeb Maddinson blasted his way through the defence to score under the post and Brad McGillick converted the try.
Great team work was displayed by all members and a big congratulations to all of you on your win.
The under 10s defeated Stingrays 38-20 in their minor semi-final, Brody Davoodi was in good form scoring two tries and converted a goal.
Thomas Reilly, Alden Johnston and Dylan Flentjar-Clarke all scored a try and converted their goal.
Troy Wilson scored a great try and Adam Kirwin kicked the goal.
Cameron Haydock played well scoring a good try, it was a great win from the under 10s and we wish you well in tomorrow’s final.
The under 16s finished off their season on a winning note with a 24-18 win over Dapto, the team left their best performance for last and gave supporters plenty to cheer about.
Ejay Laga was the first to score for Bomaderry when he busted through the line of defence to cross over the line and score and Aaron Dhu kicked the goal.
Aaron was next to score himself when he found a gap in the defence to score out wide and he then went onto convert his try.
Drew Gough showed his talent when he made a break in play and had too much speed to score right under the post.
Lachlan Adlington overpowered his way through the defence to score his try out wide.
Aaron Dhu made it a double and sealed victory for the Swamp Rats, well done to the entire team.
The under 15s traveled to Berkeley for their clash and came away with a massive 50-14 win.
Tristan Wisniewski was on fire, scoring four tries during the game.
The under 14s were defeated by Thirroul 38-16. Tyson Simpson played well scoring a double and Drew Gough scored a well deserved try.
The under 13s were defeated by Culburra 36-18. Cohan Simpson-Brown played a good game scoring a double and converting both tries.
The consistent Austin Thompson was not to be out done scoring a try and kicking the goal.
