SHOALHAVEN Mayor Joanna Gash will take up Councillor Andrew Guile’s offer to catch up for a chat.
Since the election the two councillors have failed to see eye to eye on a number of issues, and have been at loggerheads.
Cr Guile extended the offer to the mayor to try to “bury the hatchet” in a letter to the editor in the South Coast Register last week.
He signed off by saying, “Maybe it’s time we caught up for a drink?”
Cr Gash said she would be talking to Cr Guile at last night’s scheduled council meeting and would discuss the matter.
