Flames to host Shoalhaven super skills clinic

THE Southern Design Sydney Uni Flames WNBL team in partnership with Kennedy’s Tours, will host a super skills clinic in Shoalhaven on Monday, April 15.

The Flames team is looking forward to sharing its knowledge of the game over 4 hours of fundamental skills, drills and fun games.

The camp is open to girls and boys aged eight to 16 years and will be held at the Shoalhaven Basketball Stadium, Cambewarra Road, Bomaderry, free of charge.

Attending the camp is Flames community operations manager Trish Fallon, along with Flames guard Jaimee Kennedy.

Kennedy has been with the Flames for five years, was a Shoalhaven junior, and is the daughter of Kennedy’s Tours owners Lyn and John Kennedy.

Kennedy’s game has gone from strength to strength in her five years with the Flames and she will be a  great role model for the camp participants.

“Kennedy’s Tours have been a great supporter of the Flames over the years and without its support of this camp, it would not be possible to run such an event,” said Fallon.

“Shoalhaven has produced some great players and we are looking forward to sharing our knowledge of the game in a fun environment. We have opened this camp to players of all levels to ensure anyone interested in attending is accepted.”
