A 36-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with reckless wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm following a serious assault at a local caravan park on Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to the Willows Van Park around 5pm, with initial reports that a man had been stabbed in the head.
Officers found the 54-year-old man had been struck in the head with a sharp object following an argument.
The man was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital, treated and later released.
Police established a crime scene and arrested the 36-year-old woman.
She has been charged with reckless wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and will appear before a future sitting of Nowra Local Court.
