A SUSSEX Inlet man caught growing marijuana has been fined $750 and given an 18-month good behaviour bond.
In Nowra Local Court, Glenn Edmond Ashford, 41, of Corang Road, pleaded guilty to cultivating a prohibited plant.
After receiving information that Ashford was growing cannabis hydroponically in a shed, police went to his then Sussex Inlet Road address at 11.20am on November 27.
Ashford showed them the shed and the 16 plants with an average height of 30cm he was growing inside.
