A SANCTUARY Point man who took ice into court has been sent to jail for a month and fined $500.
In Nowra Local Court, Mathew Pinchen, 30, of Boronia Avenue, pleaded guilty to possessing 2.4 grams of ice.
Pinchen was again in Nowra Local Court on February 4 when he was given a jail sentence and taken into custody by Correctional Service officers.
They searched him and found a glass ice pipe and a crystal substance which he told them was ice.
