A LEARNER driver caught drink driving has been disqualified for 12 months and given an 80-hour community service order.
Richard Andrew Lester, 41, of Kalandar Street was caught by police conducting random breath tests in Elambra Parade, Gerringong at 5pm on August 2 last year.
He was arrested and taken to Kiama Police Station where his breathalyser reading was .255.
Lester told police he had drunk two schooners of beer between 3pm and 4.50pm at Bomaderry Hotel.
