A DELEGATION of about 500 Rotarians and their partners will converge on the Shoalhaven on the weekend of March 15 to 17.
District 9680 from Sydney has 67 clubs and is staging its annual conference in the Shoalhaven.
The conference weekend will feature a gala dinner at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre on the Friday night.
Over the weekend members will be discussing the many programs and projects conducted during the past year.
Another large dinner is being held at the Fleet Air Arm Museum at HMAS Albatross on the Saturday evening.
The theme of a Night at the Museum will see guests turn up in fancy dress as their favourite prehistoric animal or historical figure.
Club spokesperson Bob Kaye Smith said each district holds an annual event.
“We stage ours in a different location each year and try to make it outside of Sydney,” he said.
“This year we are coming to the Shoalhaven and are looking forward to a big weekend.”
