A FISH almost two metres long has been found in the path of destruction from Sunday’s tornadoes – 1.3km from the sea.
Howard Brady from Culburra Beach took his family for a drive to see some of the damage on Tuesday.
They found what he believed was a yellowfin tuna.
“We saw that fish in amongst the flattened trees along Seven Mile Beach Road.
“It was almost six feet long and it had been damaged quite a bit.
“I think it proves that tornado came from the water and must have been very strong to pick up a fish of that size,” he said.
