POLICE are investigating an arson attack that destroyed a real estate office in Greenwell Point in the early hours of Monday.
Rural Fire Service volunteers from Greenwell Point, Culburra Beach, Callala Bay and Fire and Rescue NSW from Nowra attended the fire at 77 Greenwell Point Road.
“The building was fully involved when we arrived, with fire spreading into the ceiling of the adjoining building,” Paul Gooey from the RFS said.
“Firefighters saved 90 per cent of the building, however the office at the front was lost.”
No one was injured.
Coastal Properties owner Stephen Sims said he was devastated when he saw the damage.
“We’ve been there eight years and two staff were employed in the building.
“Nothing was retrievable after the fire, but we are still up and running out of our Culburra Beach office.”
