RESIDENTS affected by Sunday’s storm have been offered free green waste disposal at any of the area’s waste disposal depots by Shoalhaven City Council.
Residents will be able to dispose of green waste free of charge until close of business Sunday, March 10.
Shoalhaven Mayor Joanna Gash encouraged local residents affected by the storms to take advantage of this offer.
“It is important to note that council’s free offer will only apply to green waste that has been created as a result of the recent high winds the area has experienced.”
Council also confirmed it would conduct kerbside pickups of green waste in Terara, which bore the brunt of the mini-tornado, once work on damaged power lines was complete.
