Emergency response exercise in Shoalhaven

HMAS Albatross and local emergency response services will be conducting a major crash exercise from 7am on Wednesday, February 27.

The exercise is designed to evaluate the HMAS Albatross Emergency Plan and test the ability of emergency response services.

The exercise scenario will consist of an aircraft incident on the base and will include the use of aircraft hulks, smoke, response vehicles operating with lights and sirens and simulated injuries to persons.

Roads adjacent to HMAS Albatross may be temporarily affected. Delays should be minor and will be managed by the NSW Police Force.

Members of the public are reminded to contact triple-0 if they see smoke unrelated to this exercise.
