THE Nutters look unstoppable in the Pioneer Tenpin Bowling League competition after having a big win over last placed The Tigers with two rounds remaining.
Second placed The Screaming Banshees also recorded a good win over fourth placed Unpredictable Strikers, while third placed Bitches had to hold off a determined Thunderbirds’ team to win narrowly.

The Niners defeated Kick the Butt 12-8
For The Niners, Bob Doyle took out the star bowler of the round award bowling 60 pins over average in his games of 174, 82, 108 for a 364 series, Ron Timbs had games of 145, 180, 184 for 518, Glenn Pollard had games of 127, 177, 157 for 461, while Leiland Friend had games of 155, 118, 160 for 433.
For Kick the Butt, Jodee Mitchell had all over average games of 104, 94, 116 for a 314 series, Rosa Perkins had games of 84, 79, 65 for 228, Melissa Bushey had games of 81, 55, 83 for 219.
Bitches defeated Thunderbirds 10.5-9.5
For Bitches, Debbie Pickering had all over average games of 154, 157, 153 for a 464 series, Julie Nicholls had games of 187, 191, 136 for 514, Ann McCudden had games of 119, 129, 89 for 337, while Ingrid Sach took out the wooden spooner of the round award bowling 26 pins below average where she had all games under average with a 140, 120, 115 for 375.
For Thunderbirds, Sue Collins took out the star bowler of the round award bowling 49 pins over average in her games of 169, 121, 106 for a 396 series, Kathleen Morgan had all over average games of 162, 147, 148 for 457, Les Collins had games of 100, 94, 135 for 329, while Gordon McDowell’s absent score picked up one point.
The Nutters defeated The Niners 17-3
For The Nutters, Isaac Riley had games of 168, 171, 158 for a 497 series, Jody Jenner had games of 130, 107, 113 for 350, Sue Cherwood had games of 128, 117, 95 for 340, while Chloe Jenner had games of 100, 76, 118 for 294.
For The Tigers, Cameron Arnold had games of 127, 149, 133 for a 409 series, Adam Richardson had games of 119, 103, 124 for 346, while the vacant score gained them one point, and the other vacant score also gained them one point.
Spicks and Specks defeated Clotcud 11-9
For Spicks and Specks, Les Robinson had games of 168, 179, 169 for a 516 series, Glen Barwick had games of 127, 170, 146 for 443, Trevor Boyd had games of 154, 143, 103 for 400, while Val Dinnie had all below average games of 101, 101, 115 for 317.
For Clotcud, Ryan Souter had all games over average with a 73, 68, 82 for a 223 series, Peter Speller had games of 146, 142, 122 for 410, Hal Johnston had all below average games of 127, 133, 135 for 395, while Cara Cooper’s absent score picked up one point.
The Screaming Banshees defeated Unpredictable Strikers 13.5-6.5
For The Screaming Banshees, Robyn Quigley had all games over average with a 115, 121, 120 for a 356 series, Joanne Boler also had all over average games of 155, 121, 120 for 396, Siretta Dawson had games of 159, 142, 138 for 439, while Sue Shipman had games of 143, 112, 135 for 390.
For Unpredictable Strikers, Lyn Carter had all over average games of 82, 112, 122 for a 316 series, Steven Lucre had games of 191, 151, 216 for 558, Glenn Corbett took out the wooden spooner of the round award bowling 55 pins under average where he had all games under average with a 147, 129, 111 for 387, while the vacant score never gained them any points.
The 200 plus club award game was by Unpredictable Strikers’ Steven Lucre with a nice game of 216, well done Steven.
