Plans for the Braidwood Road motorbike and car racing complex survived a cull of projects being considered for federal funding earlier this week.
The circuit developer, Motor Cycling NSW, has now been invited to submit an application for funding for stage one of its project.
The decision is likely to be welcomed by local car and bike racing enthusiasts who believe the circuit will not only benefit the local economy and expand on the region’s tourist attractions, but will also have a positive influence on driver education, especially among the region’s youngest road users.
