FUNDS of $300,000 have been granted to Shoalhaven City Council to help build three shared foot-cycle paths.
A shared pathway at Shoalhaven Heads received $65,000 to extend the existing path at the Shoalhaven River entrance car park via the foreshore reserve to the road reserve adjacent to River Road.
The remainder of funds will be spent in Ulladulla with $95,000 on a path linking Ulladulla CBD to Lighthouse Sports Oval, and a further $175,000 will be used to complete the link between Ulladulla and Burrill Lake.
Shoalhaven Mayor Joanna Gash said through council’s consultation with the community it had become apparent local residents wanted funding allocated to roads and pathway projects.
