I AM following with interest the ongoing Jaspers Brush airfield debate.
From what I have been reading, Jaspers Brush Airport Action Group (JBAAG) has incorporated itself in order to take the South Coast Recreational Flying Club (SCRFC) to the Land and Environment Court.
Since being incorporated, JBAAG has lodged a submission with the Land and Environment Court against SCRFC.
SCRFC have been abiding by Shoalhaven City Council regulations and filing all submissions through council as required.
It appears JBAAG has taken it upon itself to circumvent the council and take the matter into its own hands.
This can surely only lead to a very costly court case for both parties and remove local community input from the debate.
