Birthday bash for Smith Family

THERE was fine crockery, cupcakes, cakes, slices and special guests as the Shoalhaven Heads Evening VIEW Club celebrated The Smith Family’s 90th anniversary in fine style with a stunning high tea.

Club member Jenny Wrigley threw open her home to members, with national VIEW Club president Lorraine Montgomery and national councillor Lyn Gerstenberg attending the function.

“VIEW members contribute significantly to the fundraising and volunteering to support The Smith Family in helping Australian children in need reach their potential through education,” Mrs Montgomery said.

In the last year VIEW members raised over $1 million to support 985 disadvantaged children through The Smith Family’s Learning for Life program.

“VIEW also provides women with the opportunity to meet regularly with other women from all walks of life, establish lasting friendships and help disadvantaged Australians through supporting The Smith Family,” she said.
