THE driver of a Shoalhaven City Council truck was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital on Thursday morning after suffering facial injuries in an accident just west of Culburra Beach.
Police said the truck was travelling west on Culburra Road about 6.30am, about four kilometres from the village, when a Holden Commodore station wagon allegedly veered into the truck’s path and collided.
The driver of the Commodore escaped injury, but the driver of the truck was treated on scene by paramedics and taken to Shoalhaven Hospital.
Police investigations into the crash are continuing.
