A 41-year-old Durran Durra man has been remanded in custody to appear in Queanbeyan Court following an alleged assault near Braidwood at the weekend.
Chadwick Wayne Hunt was charged with cause grievous bodily harm to another person with intent following an alleged incident at a home in Durran Durra on Saturday. The victim, a 42-year-old man, was allegedly found lying on the ground next to a vehicle on Nerriga Road, Braidwood, with serious injuries to his head, legs and chest.
Bail was not applied for and therefore refused and Hunt will reappear in Queanbeyan Court for mention on February 25.
