A WEST Nowra man who was caught speeding even though he had never held a driving licence has been fined $1210 and disqualified from driving for six months.
In Nowra Local Court, Scott James Baillie, of Rouken Glen Drive didn’t challenge the conviction he received on May 28 last year when a warrant was also issued.
Police patrolling the Princes Highway in Nowra on April 20 last year saw a station wagon speeding along Kalandar Street.
They followed and turned the radar on, measuring the speed as 103 km/h in a 50 zone.
Baillie stopped when he reached his home. When asked for his licence he told police he had never had one.
