SUSPECT: Police are keen to interview this man, who was recorded on a shop CCTV after allegedly breaking into a store and making off with the safe.
POLICE are investigating a break-in at a Nowra store in which a safe has been stolen.
In the early hours of Saturday morning CCTV footage from a neighbouring shop captured a man using a brick to break the front door of Gallery 7 in Rodway Arcade.
Footage shows the man entering the business where he allegedly kicked over and removed the safe, which contained a small amount of cash.
The break-in took all of 35 seconds.
Alma Webb, who has owned the business for nearly seven years, said apart from having a broken glass window on another occasion it was the first break-in she has suffered.
“It was amazing how quickly it all transpired,” she said.
